Amy on the FCA Vision:

"I come from a sports family so I was introduced to sports at a very young age. I grew up around basketball courts and baseball diamonds, competing myself and also watching my siblings compete. I knew at the young age of 5 that I wanted to play basketball in college so I’ve always had a passion for sports. Then in 2003, I met Christ and He drastically changed my life…therefore my passions started to change. Don’t get me wrong I’m still passionate about sports, but I’ve now found a new passion, a passion for Jesus Christ. So when Wes and I were introduced to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes…the vision “to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches” made sense to us. And we wanted to be involved in helping student-athletes and coaches understand and see that their passion for sports and a passion for Christ doesn’t have to be separate."
